Johns Hopkins University Full Professor in Management & Organization, Tenured in Baltimore, Maryland

The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School invites applications for a full-time, tenure track, Professor position in Management & Organization for appointments beginning in August 2024 or later. This position is available at both Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC campuses.

The Management and Organization group at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School consists of a collegial group of faculty members who are actively publishing in top management and disciplinary journals and have varied interests including management and organizational behavior, organization theory, strategy, psychology, and healthcare management.

Qualified candidates for a tenure-track faculty position must have the following:

  • A PhD degree in management, organizational behavior, organization theory, strategy or a related field.

  • Demonstrated commitment to academic research and excellence in teaching.

Ideal candidates will have an academic record consistent with a tenure-track full professor. We are seeking candidates with research interests focused on organizations and organizing at any level -- micro-, meso-, or macro-level (including strategic management/strategy).

Teaching responsibilities will include MBA/MS-level courses on management, strategy, and innovation. Evidence of successful teaching in a graduate business school environment is desirable but not required.
