About The Role:

As a CBRE Financial Operations Analyst, you will perform routine analysis of processes and metrics to identify areas where team productivity and efficiencies can be improved. Leads projects, implementations and training sessions related to process improvements, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery for financial operations team.

This is an Associate Level - hybrid position, and we will require you to come in office at least 1 day per week!

What You'll Do:

  • Gather data on transactional activities and functions including vendor invoice processing, 1009 and tax processing, lease administration and cash receipt applications.

  • Perform analysis for identified process improvement initiatives and provide results to leadership. May make recommendations to management based on information gathered.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve inquiries and requests related to analysis and metrics collected. Respond to inquiries from internal customers who are given instruction on action to take related to a process improvement initiative.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to internal and external processes. Implements process improvements by applying Lean Six Sigma methodology and time/motion studies.

  • Train staff on new approved business processes (e.g. Manual bill upload initiative, etc.).

  • High school diploma or (GED) required. Associate's degree with concentration in Business or Finance preferred. At least 4 years of administrative or financial operations support; or combination of education and validated experience

  • Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts in depth financial analysis.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents and address problems involving several options in situations. Requires experienced analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Ability to effectively respond verbally or in writing to basic inquiries. Requires a high level of commitment to customer service.

  • Use a proactive approach to unusual occurrences. Requires good organizational skills, attention to detail, and being open to exciting insights and procedures. General experience with MS Office software.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to respond effectively to the most critical issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on sophisticated topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to empower and work with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
