Antech Diagnostics Lead Quality Assurance Coordinator in Fountain Valley, California

Pay Rate: $30 per hour.

PURPOSE OF JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Quality Coordinator Lead is to provide supervisory and leadership support to department associates. The Quality Coordinator Lead plays a key role in day-to-day operations within the department and is a vital component of the associate training and development process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Quality Coordinator activities by serving as a resource for the team to ask questions,

  • Triage and distribute work tasks within the department.

  • Provide training for new and existing department associates.

  • Monitor productivity and quality KPIs and provide weekly summary reports to management.

  • Be able to perform department duties efficiently with minimal oversight.

  • Perform routine internal departmental audits.

  • Demonstrate proficiency with all systems and protocols.

  • Collaborate with management and the technical writing team to establish and maintain current standard operating procedures.

  • Interface with cross-departmental functions to resolve issues and establish protocol.

  • Bring positive energy and excitement to the team.

  • Fulfill Quality Coordinator duties as needed, in the event of staffing shortage.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 2 years customer service experience

  • Veterinary, medical and/or laboratory experience highly preferred

  • Related experience such as veterinary or biology credits, call center or other intensive service background is optimal.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Organized, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Extensive sitting, phone, and computer use (at desk 80% of shift)

  • Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers.

  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, stoop, or crouch

  • May be required to lift, move, and carry up to 20 lbs.

  • Specific vision abilities required including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Hearing ability to effectively communicate via the telephone and in person.

  • Ability to communicate verbally on the telephone and in person.

  • Fluency in the English language

  • Travel 10%

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The employee will primarily work in a typical office environment including the use of cubicles, computers, and overhead lighting.

  • Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

  • The employee will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, database management, email, and the Internet.

  • The employee is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system.
