Veralto Procurement Manager (Onsite - Flexible Role in Hemet, CA) in Hemet, California

About the role:

The Procurement Manager is responsible for the daily operations, performance, and top-down alignment of the McCrometer procurement team. Improves supply chain capabilities through a robust application of Supply Base Management (Risk, Rationalization, and Relationships). Develops and executes cost reduction plans for both direct and indirect spend categories. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to right-size inventories. Negotiates all key supplier agreements.

This position is part of the Operations Team located in Hemet, CA, and will be on-site - flexible.

In this role, you will:

  • Aligns with McCrometer’s strategic commercial and operation initiatives to determine optimal sourcing strategies across multiple commodities and geographies.

  • Manages strategic supplier relationships by maintaining McCrometer’s supplier performance and rationalization processes.

  • Participates as part of the Level 2 management team in monthly policy deployment reviews.

  • Leads daily purchasing activities through Visual Daily Management and formal problem-solving.

  • Builds a team of agile professionals focused on ensuring supply, managing costs, optimizing processes, and providing exceptional internal customer service.

  • Leads all strategic and tactical supply and demand planning activities to ensure continuous supply.

  • Partners with sustaining engineering to generate material productivity savings opportunities.

  • Develops and maintains procurement Savings Project Funnel and provides detailed projections to finance.

  • Leverages Veralto Material System tools to right-size purchased inventories.

  • Creates and captures value for the organization through key supplier collaborations and negotiations.

  • Supports Operation initiatives with rigorous data analysis and data-driven suggestions.

  • Leads cross-functional procurement and supply chain initiatives and process improvements.

  • Champions the Veralto Enterprise System fundamentals.

Are you qualified?

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred, or 5 plus years of relevant work experience may be substituted instead of degree.

  • Supply Base Management experience (minimum 3 plus years).

  • Demand Planning experience (minimum 3 plus years).

  • Developing successful cost savings plans (minimum 3 plus years).

  • Direct procurement and supply chain leadership experience (minimum 5 plus years).

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future.
