In this job, you will manage ongoing maintenance and enhancements related to IT systems that support our eMobility programs. eMobility is responsible for the launch and execution of the largest EV charging infrastructure programs in the nation with a transportation electrification program portfolio of over $1 Billion. The eMobility organization within the Customer Programs & Services division of Customer Service requires an expert IT project manager to own the development, enhancement and maintenance of systems and data solutions on behalf of the eMobility team.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Working with Information Technology (IT) to advance Transportation Electrification (TE) program system and data needs on behalf of the eMobility team.

  • Developing new tools and IT solutions to support new programs and services such as Technical Advisory Services as part of the new TE Framework Funding Cycle 1.

  • Serving as the project manager/delivery lead for the iEnergy Back Office System supporting TE programs, including vendor management, contract management, contract negotiations and financial oversight.

  • Leading IT project/enhancement prioritization on behalf of the eMobility team.

  • Troubleshooting access issues & submitting tickets, IGAM requests and resolving issues in a timely manner.

  • Be a champion of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible.

The essentials

  • Seven or more years of experience delivering technology products or solutions.

The preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Information Systems, or an applicable professional, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. (Asset)

  • Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification. (Asset)

  • Experience utilizing Agile and Design Thinking Methodologies. (Asset)

  • Ability to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding and service-oriented environment.

  • Attention to detail and strong technical intuition.

  • Ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to set and manage expectations at the executive level.

  • Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
