Dartmouth Health Research PostDoctoral Fellow - Pulmonary Research in Lebanon, New Hampshire

Overview

The Ashare Lab at DHMC seeks to hire a new postdoctoral research fellow to support the growing NIH and CF Foundation-funded research portfolio. This postdoctoral position will seek applicants with a background in Immunology, Microbiology or Cell Biology, including but not limited to cellular metabolism or host-pathogen interactions. The successful candidate will contribute to research that supports multiple active NIH and CFF funded projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of experiments and project activities.

  • Train and supervise research assistants, students, and others as required.

  • Monitor grant activitie, funding, and expenditures.

  • Oversee data management and manuscript preparation and presentations of specific projects.

  • Assist in proposal writing.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • PhD in a related field required

  • All requirements for degree, including dissertation defense, must be completed prior to start date.

  • Must exhibit excellent quantitative skills as well as good English writing and verbal skills
