Description We are offering an opportunity in the retail industry located in Manhattan Beach, California, for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role involves handling accounting functions, particularly focusing on accounts receivable, using various software systems. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts receivable duties using accounting software systems such as Great Plains (GPAC) and IBM AS/400

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites for various accounting functions and data management

• Oversee billing functions and ensure they are carried out accurately and timely

• Monitor cash activity and manage check processing to maintain accurate records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries and maintain precise customer credit records

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action to collect delinquent payments

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Ability to manage Cash Activity

• Experience in Check Processing
