L’opportunité

L’équipe Unity Hub est le précurseur de l’éditeur, des services et des ressources de Unity, où nous aidons des millions de développeur(se)s de jeux et de 3d en temps réel à réaliser des créations exceptionnelles et innovantes. Conçu avec Electron, à l’aide de Typescript et de React, le Hub aide les utilisateur(rice)s à trouver, à télécharger et à gérer les installations et les projets Unity, et aide à leur fournir et à étendre un large éventail de services Unity.

Chez Unity, les membres de notre équipe d’AQ sont des professionnel(le)s des tests et de la qualité. Ils misent sur la communication et la collaboration pour permettre à toute l’équipe de produire des logiciels de qualité. Ils ont la responsabilité d’encourager la culture de la qualité et de résoudre les problèmes les plus difficiles en matière de qualité pour toute l’équipe.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) développeur(se) de la Qualité pour rejoindre le groupe Marketplace & Ecosystem, en se concentrant sur le Unity Hub. En travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les membres de l’équipe locale et de l’équipe dispersée géographiquement, ainsi qu’avec les équipes d’Unity au niveau mondial, vous contribuerez à rapprocher l’écosystème de Unity de l’éditeur et à offrir une expérience initiale exceptionnelle aux utilisateurs.

Ce que vous allez faire

• Être impliqué(e) dans tous les aspects du processus de qualité, y compris la création et l’exécution des tests, le suivi des mesures des tests, la révision des estimations de l’effort de test, la gestion des lancements et les rapports

• Développer et maintenir les plans de test, identifier les lacunes dans les tests et permettre une couverture de test supplémentaire

• Rédiger et exécuter des tests automatisés de bout en bout

• Travailler avec l’équipe de gestion des produits et les développeur(se)s pour déterminer et valider les exigences, et atténuer les risques

• Interagir avec nos clients internes et externes et recueillir leurs commentaires

Ce que nous recherchons

• Une expérience de travail en tant que Développeur(se) en AQ

• Une expérience dans l’automatisation des cas de tests manuels

• Une connaissance approfondie des méthodologies de la qualité

• Une expérience avec les infrastructures d’automatisation comme Playwright

• Une approche empathique et centrée sur l’utilisateur pour soutenir nos clients

The opportunity

The Unity Hub team is the curtain-raiser for the Unity editor, services, and resources, where we are helping millions of game and real-time 3d developers make outstanding and innovative things. Built-in Electron, using Typescript and React, the Hub helps users find, download, and manage Unity installations and projects, as well as connecting and extending a wide range of Unity services to the user.

At Unity, our QA team members are the test and quality professionals. They rely on communication and collaboration to help the whole team deliver quality software. They are responsible for driving the Quality Culture and solving the hard problems in quality for the entire team.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the Marketplace & Ecosystem group, with particular focus on the Unity Hub. Working closely with local and distributed team members, as well as with Unity teams globally, you will help bring the Unity ecosystem closer to the editor and provide an extraordinary initial experience to the users.

What you'll be doing

• Be involved in all aspects of the quality process including test creation and execution, tracking of test metrics, reviewing test effort estimates, release management, and reporting

• Develop and maintain test plans, identify gaps in testing, and enable additional test coverage

• Write and execute automated end-to-end tests

• Work with Product Management and Developers to identify and validate requirements, mitigate risks

• Interact with our internal and external customers and collect feedback

What we're looking for

• Experience working as QA Developer

• Experience in automating manual test cases

• Deep knowledge of Quality methodologies

• Experience with automation frameworks like Playwright

• Users-first and empathetic approach to supporting our customers

• Experience with Web or Electron applications

• Experience with Javascript/Typescript

• Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, a plus)
