Service Champions Warehouse Associate in Murrieta, California

Service Champions, Murrieta, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate. The Warehouse Associate will support the Field Operations by carrying out the responsibilities of the Warehouse Department. The ideal candidate will have exceptional multi-tasking skills and a minimum of two years’ experience in a Warehouse position. Successful candidates are organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load and unload trucks, inspect products for defects and damages
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
Responsible for ensuring accurate shipping and receiving of packages including reconciling packing slips and invoices
Responsible for inventory control and quality control
Operate forklift and various motor vehicles
Stage equipment for installs
Deliver parts and equipment to jobsites
Order parts and equipment from various Service Champions vendors
Create and maintain purchase orders, ensure completed paperwork is submitted to accounts payable and entered into databases accurately.
Partner with Accounting to resolve issues with purchase orders
Able to work with internal departments to resolve customer concerns
Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean staging area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Clean and maintain warehouse and facilities, including bathrooms, breakroom and other areas as assigned
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work professionally with internal and external customers and vendors
Ability to drive several types of company vehicles and satisfy the requirements of our insurance carrier
Must pass a drug screening and background check
PC proficiency with an emphasis in Microsoft Office desired
Knowledge of HVAC parts and equipment desirable
Forklift certification desired
Available to work overtime and weekends as needed
Positive and energetic attitude
Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions
Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year prior warehouse experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The principal duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes, the outdoors, and field environments at development and work sites on uneven and rough terrain.
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance.
Required to work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time.
Requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills.
Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day on uneven, difficult terrain.
Occasional heavy manual labor to include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others and to convey detailed spoken instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, or alarms).
May work in closed or cramped space on occasion
Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
