The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York Assistant Professor of Primary Care Sports Medicine in New York, New York

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia, University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified physician at the Assistant Professor level, who is trained in Sports Medicine, who practices non-surgical musculoskeletal care, who offers non-surgical treatment options, and who cares for sports-related illness and a variety of active patients. The position carries a full-time faculty appointment at Columbia University and additional privileges at one of Columbia's affiliated institutions.

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute through their research, teaching, and/or service to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.

Candidates should be active members of relevant national organizations, i.e., the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

  • Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery, Family Medicine, Podiatry, or Primary Care and must be
  • Eligible to practice in the State of New York.
  • Candidate must have Fellowship Training and/or experience in Sports Medicine
  • A documented track record of successful collaboration in an Orthopedic Surgery department is preferred.
