Call Taker

Our Call Taker will perform, under limited supervision and ensures that all calls & reservations are taken accurately and timely on a daily basis for the Pasadena Dial-A-Ride.

Our Call Takers will enjoy:

·$21.00 /HR

Our Call Takers are responsible for:

  • Daily data entry of ridership for the Pasadena Transit and Dial-A-Ride.

  • May perform secretarial functions as needed for assigned staff member(s) and other duties as assigned.

  • Perform ride-a-long NTD passenger count ride surveys on transit buses.

  • Learning dispatching functions to be used whenever required.

  • Assisting key personnel to compile DAR information.

  • Assisting key personnel to compile Pasadena Transit information.

  • Assisting with the Monthly Client Report.

  • Verify on a daily basis all DAR runs/ breaks & lunches.

  • Verify on a daily basis all DAR manifests.

  • Any additional office clerk assignments as needed for coverage.

  • The above duties are not meant to restrict initiative, but rather to define minimum activities. These duties may be altered to suit the needs of the company as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

To qualify a Call Taker, you’ll need:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years Office, data entry, or administrative experience.

  • Strong MS Office skills.

  • Excellent Customer Service skills.

  • Must be analytical with use of various data.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ecolane experience desired.

  • Bilingual desired.
