The Transitional Living Project (TLP) provides housing assistance and support to youth ages 18-24 living in market rate apartments in the community. Travel is required for this position. Equivalent experience to a four-year degree is accepted. $1,000 Hiring Bonus! Job Summary: As a Lead Case Manager, you will provide case management services to families headed by a kinship caregiver and families with a history of domestic violence. Work with these families to identify strengths and develop a case plan to overcome barriers, providing resources and tool that will create greater stability and safety for the family system. You will work with the Program Manager to develop, monitor, and evaluate program policy, procedures, and services and recruit and supervise volunteers and interns. This role will also provide family, individual, and group support through individual consultation, Family Circle Conferences and facilitated support groups. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with licensure for supervision of interns or related field plus two years of relevant experience which includes education, or training in parent education. Master's Degree in Social Work preferred with licensure. A driver's license, acceptable driving record and current insurance is required. Strong communication skills to employ knowledge of family functioning including building rapport and trust with each family. Able to empathize and connect with low-income families, teen parents, grandparents and others raising relative's children and to work effectively with participants of diverse backgrounds. Able to function independently and interact with and relate to a variety of individuals. Computer skills in the areas of word processing, database management and publishing programs.
