Job purpose:

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | | | Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA seeks to fill a full-time 9-month | | academic appointment to serve as Assistant Professor and Bachelor of | | Science in Nursing (BSN) Program Director in the Department of | | Nursing. There is also administrative work undertaken during the | | summer months for which a stipend will be provided. The department is | | looking for candidates to provide engaged leadership in the | | day-to-day operations of the campus-based BSN program. The successful | | candidate will hold a tenure-track appointment in the Department of | | Nursing and will also be appointed as BSN Program Director for a | | 3-year period, with an annual review, as well as eligibility to be | | reappointed as the Program Director for an additional 3-year period. | | | | | | | | | | | | The BSN program is a campus-based program offered during fall and | | spring semesters. Minimum qualifications: 

Earned PhD in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or a doctoral degree in a related field is acceptable if the master's degree is in nursing.

Master of Science degree in nursing (a master's degree in a related field is acceptable if the doctoral degree is in nursing).

Valid, unencumbered Washington state RN license, or ability to obtain prior to hire.

Three years of administrative leadership experience in a BSN nursing program (Faculty Lead, Chair, Assistant Director, Director)

Evidence of curriculum development, program planning, evaluation, assessment, and accreditation processes.
