Sales and Operations Specialist
Position Summary
Singer Vehicle Design’s Commercial Operations team is responsible for ensuring that customers enjoy a best-in-class client experience from first engagement through to delivery, and beyond. The Sales and Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting and improving the data infrastructure and processes that underly global sales and client experience activities.
This position is located on-site in Torrance, CA.
Essential Functions
Maintain and develop accurate and comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on sales and client experience activities
Support, maintain, and improve sales and client experience data integrity within Salesforce CRM with a focus on efficient dataflows and perfect accuracy
Assist commercial operations team members with various CRM tools and processes (ex. report building, contract issuance, data recording, etc.)
Work with the sales team to record and track lead generation, prospective sales, and recent sales conversions
Assist with data-keeping related to new product launches and rollouts
Assist with strategic data analysis and forecasting for future product planning and commercial growth targets
Assist with developing the department’s interaction and cooperation with commercial operations-adjacent business infrastructure (ex. ERP and supply chain systems)
Work in a cross functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals
Report to the Sales Operations Manager regarding objectives, reviews, analysis, and reporting
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field
One (1) to three (3) years of automotive sales, product and/or luxury customer service experience
Prior experience in rapidly growing business environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams), Excel Required
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
Experience with coding in Python, Java, and/or R
Proficiency with Tableau and Tableau Prep online and desktop applications, or other data visualization software
Preferred Education/Experience and/or Certifications
General level of technical understanding of road vehicles, specifically air-cooled Porsches
Detailed knowledge of Singer Vehicle Design’s history, heritage and services
Previous experience in the luxury goods or automotive industry
Skills/Abilities and Attributes
Strong analytical, project management, computer, communication, and writing skills (typing, spelling, grammar)
Expert ability with Microsoft Excel
Technical fluency with relational databases and tables
Team oriented, strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and to multiple deadlines
Strong organizational, problem-solving and collaborative skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently within and across departments
Professional appearance, excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal; ability to express ideas clearly and actively listen to others

Physical Demands/Work Environment
Must be able to travel for business, including occasional travel by commercial airplane
Must be able to work in a seated position for extended periods
Must be able to work in a standing and/or walking position for long periods of time
Must be able to use fingers, hands, and arms at computer keyboard for extended periods
Must have ability to speak clearly and distinctly and hear and be heard and understood in person, by telephone and email
Must be able to work an early, non-standard schedule and long hours when needed
Compensation
The starting salary range for this position is between $75,100 - 90,120 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
