Description

We are inviting applications for the role of a Package Designer in the Manufacturing industry, based in New Jersey. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the packaging process, using their skills in graphic design to enhance the appeal of our products through packaging. This role involves designing innovative packaging for various categories of home textiles, developing templates, and coordinating with production timelines for a smooth process.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing new and innovative packaging for all categories of home textiles

• Adhere to packaging guidelines for each customer and brand

• Develop and provide specifications of new packaging for hand-off to packaging production

• Review soft and hard proofs of inserts, labels, and physical prototypes from overseas offices

• Provide feedback and approvals, coordinating with production timelines to ensure a smooth process

• Create art files for production as needed and collaborate with the production team for the accurate creation of packaging art files

• Aid in the development of new brands – including logos, brand statements and positioning, packaging, and photography style guides

• Utilize skills in Adobe Illustrator, Brand Awareness, Customer Service, and Design.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

• Color Theory

• Understanding of Brand Awareness strategies

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Proven track record in Design

• Previous experience in the Manufacturing industry preferred

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Creativity and innovation in creating practical design solutions.

• Familiar with the functions of social media platforms
